hey, hi, hello

I'm Carolyn, and I’m actually so jazzed that you're here! My hope is that this blog will function as a kind of behind-the-scenes look into the interior design projects I do. Yes, they’re currently only for friends and family, but the goal is to make this my full time gig, so cross those fingers for me!

As a woman in my thirties, I know firsthand the mix of excitement and "what am I doing?!" that comes from making big, life-altering decisions. Have I bought a house yet? In this economy– heck no! But making spaces that you don’t own feel like yours is a skill I think more people should invest in. I'm a big believer in creating spaces that truly reflect you. I'm all about maximizing function and beauty, without breaking the bank.

Speaking of things I’m all about: I’m a huge fan of comfort food (carbs, I’m looking at you), moments spent with friends and family, knitting, and other kinds of crafting/DIY. There's nothing quite as humbling as being a college graduate who can’t remember how to count (fellow fiber artists, you understand). 

So, whether you're dreaming of your first down payment, sketching out your next home improvement project, or just looking for a friendly face to share ideas with, you've come to the right place. I'm so glad to have you on this journey with me, and I can't wait to share more.
